Dear Friends
February is traditionally the Month of Love, so I hope you indulged your sentimental self on Valentine’s Day. It feels so good to lavish cute little cuddly toys, heart-shaped trinkets, soppy cards, red roses and chocolates on our loved ones and, maybe, on ourselves! On the other hand, who needs a special day for a chocolate treat?
Speaking of all things romantic, it’s no surprise that the fragrance of roses won hands-down in our “Smell of Happiness” survey! Here are the interesting results:
Roses 41%, Vanilla 18%, Coffee 15%, Lavender 15%, Citrus 7%, Curry 4%
Red Roses
In my hot, Highveld garden the full-blown roses invite the bees to enjoy one last sweet sip before the petals wilt and drop.

Valentine Winner
