JANUARY 2025 NEWSLETTER
Dear Friends
It’s a new year, a fresh month, and I’m feeling inspired. We’ve had rain, the sun is shining, the garden is growing, and the planets lined up in a spectacular parade. I’ve started working towards my solo exhibition which will be held in June at my Studio112; my Artist Journal is becoming increasingly messy aka "interesting"; and I have some ideas for the Inktober drawings.
We kicked off the year with two Summer Fruits Workshops, just to set the tone for the year. What joyful, colourful occasions they were! You can view the photos by tapping/clicking HERE.
Booking is already lively for the April “Autumn Landscape” watercolour workshops. Details are on the DATES page.
Graphics & Griffonage
In the November 2024 Newsletter, I shared some ink and watercolour sketches from my exquisite hand-bound sketchbook, with leather cover and thick sheets of watercolour paper. I’ve called it “Graphics & Griffonage” because I combine drawing, painting, my terrible handwriting and cut-outs to create interesting images.

Garden grow?
As many of you know, I ripped up my pool and tired old deck after my beloved husband John passed away (June 2024), and started creating a "Peace Garden" in July 2024. As promised, here's an update on my garden, where I now get most of my inspiration for my flower paintings. Enjoy strolling through my Peace Garden’s progress from July 2024 to January 2025.
