Fresh Breezes of Change
Spring is sprung and the snow is falling in South Africa! September’s fickle weather has certainly kept gardeners on their toes this year! Despite the strange weather, nothing can suppress that wonderful, light feeling of anticipation of a new season, of possibilities and of fresh hope.
From Sterile Space to Peaceful Place
My Garden of Peace – created in memory of my precious John (22 Feb 1948 - 7 June 2024) – is almost complete. Now all it needs is some rain and a few seasons for the new plants to come into their own. An essential element in the planning was a patch of cool grass for those barefoot moments, and a fragrant arbour for reading, dreaming, praying and drinking copious cups of tea. A garden is where I feel close to God and experience His powerful healing energy.

Open Studio: Save the Dates!
